Beater Mills

Beater Mills SMM are used for the grinding of products with a high fat content e.g. Cocoa nibs and Hazelnuts. The moisture content of the product is also reduced during the Beater Mills grinding process. The product is fed into the grinding chamber of Beater Mills at a controlled rate, by means of a dosing screw. High speed rotating blades of Beater Mills break the product down to the required particle size. The fineness of the finished product is determined by the mesh size of an integral, annular sieve, of the Beater Mills through which the mass flows on its way to the exit of the mill.

The shell and base of the grinding chamber in Beater Mills are of jacketed design, to facilitate the processing of product under controlled conditions of operation. In Beater Mills hot or cold water is circulated, as appropriate, to maintain a constant temperature. The maximum capacity of the Beater Mills is 3.000 kg/h.

Natural Circulation evaporators

Natural circulation evaporators utilize vertical tubes which operate by the thermo siphon principle. The density difference between the boiling liquor and the circulating liquor in Natural circulation evaporators produces the driving force for liquid circulation. In operation, feed enters the lower liquor chamber in Natural circulation evaporators. As it travels up the tubes of the Natural circulation evaporators and reaches boiling point, vapour forms and carries liquor to the separator.

Most Natural circulation evaporators require liquor recirculation. When feed quantities are sufficient, in Natural circulation evaporators, single pass operation is utilized. Applications of Natural circulation evaporators include anhydrous caustic, beet sugar, foamy liquors. Natural circulation evaporators are also applied in low or moderately viscous liquors and precipitating liquids.

Forced Circulation evaporators

Forced Circulation evaporators are designed for evaporation of liquids with a high solids content, high viscosity, tendency to foul, and also for crystallizers. Applications of Forced Circulation evaporators include processes for salt, stillage, corn steep water. Forced Circulation evaporators are also applied in Calcium carbonate and crystallizing evaporators.

Falling Film Tubular evaporators

Falling Film Tubular Evaporators consists of one or more vertical tubular heat exchangers with vapour separator, condenser and pumps. Falling Film Tubular Evaporators are available in single-stage or multi-stage options. Operating costs can also be reduced using Falling Film Tubular Evaporators. Evaporation in Falling Film Tubular Evaporators usually takes place under vacuum. Heat is transferred in Falling Film Tubular Evaporators through the tube wall to the liquor.
